Mental Health & Homelessness

I want to develop affordable long term housing with support services as have been developed in other urban areas to address homelessness. 35% of the homeless are either mentally ill or physically incapable of independent living. 55% require job training and a structural environment to rehabilitate their lives. I would further seek to engage the entire county’s religious communities on adopting homeless programs which would provide a support system for each person.
